KNOW BEFORE WE GO
Service Policies
We’re committed to keeping your lawn clean and your shorelines pristine. These simple policies ensure a smooth experience for both you and your pets.
1. Access to Property
We need clear access to your yard on your service day. If we can't get in because of a locked gate or blocked entrance, we'll have to skip the visit and charge the full service fee to cover our time and travel.
3. Scheduling & Weather
Service days may shift due to holidays or extreme weather like heavy rain, lightning, or deep snow. If we can't scoop due to snow cover, we'll be back as soon as it thaws to clean up the buildup.
5. Cancellation Policy
Need to skip a week or cancel? Just give us 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable as we have already scheduled our route and staff for your visit.
7. Goose Cleanup Limitations
Goose waste is tricky. We'll clear what's visible on docks and lawns, but we cannot remove waste from inside water, tall marsh grass, or extremely soft mud. Our service helps manage the mess, but isn't a total sterilization.
9. Liability Limitations
While we are fully insured, our service is not a health or sanitation guarantee. We are not liable for illnesses, accidents involving pets, or property issues beyond the scope of our waste removal work.
2. Gate & Pet Requirements
Pets must be indoors during service unless they are 100% friendly and won’t interfere with our work. If we enter and find an aggressive or overly excited dog, we will exit immediately for safety. You are responsible for ensuring all gates are securely closed after we leave.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of booking or upon receipt of your invoice. For recurring plans, we keep a card on file for automatic billing to keep things simple. Unpaid accounts will result in a pause of service.
6. Safety Considerations
Safety is a shared job. Please keep your lawn clear of toys, tools, and debris that could cause trips or damage our gear. We clean our tools between stops to stay eco-friendly and safe for all homes.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to love your lawn! If we missed a spot, let us know within 24 hours of your service and we will come back and fix it for free. Your happiness is our top priority.
Logistics & Access
Gate Access & Safe Fencing
Maintaining secure access is a shared responsibility. We ask that customers ensure all gates and fences are in good working order before our arrival. If you have a pet known for being an 'escape artist,' please notify us ahead of time so we can take extra precautions. While we always double-check latches, homeowners are ultimately responsible for the safe containment of their animals during and after our visit.
Pet Safety & Containment
We prioritize the safety of both our team and your pets. We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if animals appear unsafe or behave aggressively. Please ensure all pets are safely contained while we work. While we use care, we cannot guarantee that pets will never find a way to escape. Customers accept full responsibility for their animals and any incidents of escape, except in rare instances involving serious fault on our part.
Weather & Operations
We work rain or shine to keep your property clean. If severe weather like heavy rain, lightning, or deep snow makes it unsafe or impossible to find waste, we may need to skip your visit. We'll be back as soon as it thaws to clean up any buildup and get your lawn back to top shape.
Guarantee & Liability
We do our absolute best, but we can’t promise every single poop or germ is gone. By using our service, you accept the natural risks of having pets and outdoor terrain. We aren't responsible for normal lawn wear, hidden hazards, or underground systems (like invisible fences) we weren't told about. Our total responsibility is capped at an amount equal to a few months of service fees, and we can't be held responsible for things outside our control.
Goose Cleanup Note: While we clear away what's visible on lawns and docks, natural conditions like high tides or thick brush may limit total removal. Our service helps manage the mess, but isn't a total sterilization.
